Decisions

Administrative Decision:
A decision issued by an Authorized Representative of the Employment Department either allowing or denying benefits.  An adverse decision can be appealed in writing within a specified time from the date mailed.

Hearing:
An opportunity for the claimant and interested employer to present documentation and testimony under oath before an Administrative Law Judge.  An adverse decision can be appealed in writing within a specified time from the date mailed.

Appeals Board:
An individual or panel who reviews a hearing transcript to either affirm, reverse or modify the decision of the Administrative Law Judge.
